thinking about it...

Its a little bit sad because i have just realised this is my last ever media project and it is all done now :(.

IT IS FINISHED....

All the editing is done, its all been put together, and it actually looks really good.

Its not exactly what i pictured in my head, but everyone says that. I guess we all have big ideas but don't realise how hard they are until we have to do them.

I am really happy with the end result thought, and will put it on her as soon as i upload it on to youtube.

IT IS ACTUALLY GOING REALLY WELL :).

We have got about 2 minutes done, have the end bit done as well, we just need to do a tiny bit more filming, which we will do today and then we will be finished. :):):):):)

We decided not to put lots of effects in because we feel that there is already so much going on in the scene that it would ruin it. We have used things like slow and fast motion, and black and white, but we felt this was enough.

It is really coming together, and everyone we show it to really likes it. they also tend to walk away singing it because it is such a catchy song.

problems

PHOTO SHOP IS SOOOOOOO HARD

It takes so much getting used to, and i get frustrated with things so easy so its not a good match photo shop and me.

Good thing is we are finished due to all the help from other media students, and chris for not getting as frustrated as me.

I AM SO SORRY.....

I am so very sorry for all the student using the editing rooms and to my teacher. I am in there all the time and it is starting to show as everyone seems to be singing "Oh Me Oh My". Hopefully we will be finish soon and then they wont have to listen to it.

whats nexted......

We are currently doing filming and editing, but we still have other things to do like the digi-pack and the magazine cover. So we are moving on and starting the magazine cover while we are still completing the video.

We have already discussed ideas and the main one that we both liked and decided to go for is having chris dressed in his two different outfits he uses in the video, talking pictures in both and putting them together to create the mirrored effect. We want to create a fun, cartoon liked effect because this reflects our video.

The pictures we are using for the magazine advert are: -

We are going to cut the opposite sides of the picture off and put them together, this will create the same effect as what the pictures above will, but the change of cloths will add even more.

To complete the magazine we will use photo shop.

We have a lot of "Oh Me Oh My"s in the song, and we wanted to be able to do something different for each of them and be really different and creative.

We came up with drawing pictures of ourselves and holding them up, these is what we came up with :-

more filming

today we when out in the freezing cold to film another part of the music video.

i am very lucky being that i do the filming so i can still wear coat, but Chris has to wear a t-shirt.

today we filmed the part over with the coloured chairs, hiding behind the tree, one of the versus and the "Oh Me Oh My" part on the stairs.

Hopefully we have done all the filming we need to do :)

ideas

we have decided to do a differet ending, we are going to do a guitar solo so it fits in with the music. Filming has started for this, we have used different background and different light forms, like the projecter and normal lights to creat different effects.

what is happen so far?

• most of the filming is done and up loaded on the imac
• editing has started
• first 30 seconds has been completely edited and ready
• last part has veen edited but we need to do the middle bit and fit it all together

Finally

I think we have finished all our filming. We recorded anything we thought we would need and more, all we need now is to put it all together and do the finishing touches.

i had a dream.....

It has even come to me dreaming about our music video. I think when i dream i actually come up with the best ideas. I thought about how we could use this little garden near our civic center. This would add so much more colour because there are different sits all in different colours. I was to do very fast editing at this bit. I feel this is add more character to our piece.
